To defrost the freezer compartment of the LIEBHERR UK1720 Integrated Under Counter Fridge, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power supply.
2. Remove all food from the freezer compartment and store it in a cool place.
3. Open the freezer compartment door and leave it open to allow the ice to melt.
4. Place towels or newspaper on the floor beneath the freezer compartment to catch any water that may drip during the defrosting process.
5. Do not use any sharp objects or electrical heating devices to speed up the defrosting process.
6. Once the ice has melted, remove any remaining water from the freezer compartment using a sponge or cloth.
7. Clean the freezer compartment and shelves with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
8. Dry the freezer compartment thoroughly before switching the appliance back on.
9. Plug the appliance back into the power supply and switch it on.
10. Wait for the freezer compartment to reach the desired temperature before placing the food back inside.
