To install the EMTEK F13 UL Listed Mortise Lock xxxx by xxxx , please follow the steps below:
1. Install Cylinder Plug:
- Thread the cylinder plug clockwise onto the lock body.
- Ensure that the notch on the cylinder plug is in the 9 o'clock position when fully screwed onto the lock body.
2. Install Mortise Lock:
- Refer to the provided template for door prep specifications.
3. Adjust and Install Spindle:
- Rotate the spindle one full turn until both slots are facing the same way.
4. Install Key Cylinder:
- Insert the key ¾ of the way into the key cylinder.
- Thread the key cylinder clockwise onto the trim plate.
- Note that the plates and lever/ xxxx may vary depending on the style.
5. Tighten Key Cylinder:
- After installing the key cylinder, secure it by tightening the xxxx .
6. Mount Inside Trim to Door.
7. Install Trim Plate.
8. Tighten Inside Lever or xxxx .
9. Install Door Jamb:
- Follow the instructions provided to reverse the swing if needed.
- Remove the dowel xxxx and remember to replace it after reversing the swing.
- Pull out and rotate the latch bolt to reverse its direction.
