To install the EMTEK F13 UL Listed Mortise Lock, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide:
1. Install Cylinder Plug:
- Thread the cylinder plug clockwise onto the lock body.
- Ensure that the notch on the cylinder plug is in the 9 o'clock position when fully screwed onto the lock body.
2. Install Mortise Lock:
- Refer to the template provided for door prep specifications.
3. Install Key Cylinder:
- Insert the key ¾ of the way into the key cylinder.
- Thread the key cylinder clockwise onto the trim plate.
- Note that the plates and grip may vary depending on the style.
4. Tighten Key Cylinder:
- Once the key cylinder is installed, secure it by tightening the xxxx .
5. Mount Inside Trim to Door.
6. Install Trim Plate.
7. Tighten Inside Lever or xxxx :
- Use the provided 3/32 Hex wrench to tighten the lever.
8. Install Door Jamb:
- Refer to the template for door jamb prep specifications.
Instructions to reverse swing:
- Remove the dowel xxxx (remember to replace it after reversing swing).
- Pull out and rotate the latch bolt to reverse its direction.
