To install the Merten 648704 Blind Actuator REG K, please follow the instructions provided in the instruction manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:

1. Make sure to hire a professional electrician to install and connect the blind actuator, as it involves working with electrical current. They should also follow the regulations and guidelines applicable in your country.

2. Place the blind actuator on the DIN rail by inserting it from underneath and pushing it upwards. Press up to ensure that the claws on the rear side fix into the rail.

3. Use fuse devices to protect the switching contacts. Connect a 6 A automatic cutout upstream to protect the contacts.

4. Connect the EIB (Instabus) by following the instructions provided in Figure 4 of the manual. Make sure to connect the bus voltage and the blind actuator voltage in the correct polarity to avoid damaging the blind actuator.

5. Connect the bus voltage first and wait for at least 30 seconds. After the bus voltage is connected, all the blind actuator relays will move to a predefined position (default setting: "Off").
