To add oil to the Makita DVP181 Cordless Vacuum Pump, follow these steps:
1. Remove the oil fill/exhaust cap located on the pump.
2. Add the supplied oil through the filler port until the oil level is between the upper and lower level lines of the sight glass.
3. Make sure to use Makita genuine oil to maintain pump performance.
4. Replace the oil fill/exhaust cap securely.
It is important to note that operating the pump without adding oil can damage the pump and may result in malfunction. Always check the oil level and condition before using the pump.
