To install the ITC 69369 Flush Mount Docking Light, you will need the following tools: a power drill, wire nuts (not provided), and the included mounting screws. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you with the installation process:
1. Disconnect power: Before starting the installation, make sure to disconnect the power source to avoid any accidents.
2. Safety precautions: Take necessary safety precautions, such as accounting for all parts and destroying all packing materials to prevent hazards, especially for children.
3. Determine the mounting area: Use the interior hole of the bezel to mark the mounting area on your desired location. You can use a jig saw to cut out the marked area.
4. Connect wires: Connect the wires of the docking light to your electrical source. Use wire nuts to secure the connections properly. Ensure that the operating voltage is within the range of 10 - 14V DC.
5. Insert the light: Insert the docking light into the hole you cut out in step 3. Make sure it fits securely.
6. Install the bezel (optional): If you have the stainless steel bezel, place it over the top of the light. This will provide a finished look to the installation.
7. Secure the light: Insert the included #6 screws through the bezel (if used) and tighten them until the light is securely mounted.
