To connect your nPZero SENTINEL device to your phone, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have an iPhone with iOS 14.5 or later, or a phone with Android 10 or later.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone (BLE 4.2 or later).
3. Turn on Location Services on your phone:
- For iPhone: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
- For Android: Go to Settings > Location > Use Location.
4. Make sure NFC functionality is turned on:
- For iPhone 7 or later: No additional steps required.
- For Android: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Device Connection > NFC.
5. Install the Nanopower app from the App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android).
6. Open the app and tap on "Sign Up" to create a new account.
7. After signing up, log in with your newly created username and password.
8. On the home screen of the app, select the device you want to connect to.
9. Hold your phone according to the NFC connection illustrations provided in the manual.
10. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the connection process.
11. Give the device a name and tap "Add device". The device is now assigned to your user account.
Once connected, you can power on the device by tapping the power icon in the app and following the on-screen instructions. The device will boot in Mode 1 and will be ready to connect with the app every 5 minutes. You can also perform on-demand communication by tapping the communication icon in the app and following the instructions.
