To set up the SmartGen MGC120 Petrol Genset Controller for your generator, please follow the steps below:
1. Check all the connections and ensure that the wire diameter is proper.
2. Make sure that the controller's DC power has a fuse and is correctly connected to the positive and negative terminals of the starter battery.
3. Take proper action to prevent the engine from cranking successfully, such as removing the connection wire of the gas valve.
4. Press the "Start" button to start the genset. After the set cranking times, the controller will send a signal of Start Failure. Press the "Stop" button to reset the controller.
5. Restore the action of preventing the engine from cranking successfully, such as reconnecting the wire of the gas valve.
6. Press the "Start" button again to start the genset. Observe the engine's running state, AC generator's voltage, and frequency carefully. If there is anything unusual, stop the running genset and check all wire connections according to the manual.
