To connect the SmartGen BAC1203VE Battery Charger to your battery, follow the wiring connection description provided in the manual:
1. Connect the B+ terminal of the charger to the positive electrode of the battery using a BVR1.5mm2 multi-strand copper wire.
2. Connect the B- terminal of the charger to the negative electrode of the battery using a BVR1.5mm2 multi-strand copper wire.
3. Connect the PE terminal of the charger to the ground.
4. Connect the AC input terminals (Terminal L and Terminal N) of the charger to AC (100-277)V using a BVR1.0mm2 multi-strand copper wire.
5. Ensure proper connections and make sure the charger is securely connected to the battery.
Please refer to the manual for a visual representation of the wiring connections.
Note: During generator operation, the charging current may cause voltage drop in the charging line. It is recommended to separately connect the charger to the battery terminal to avoid disturbance on sampling precision.
