To install the ITC 69553 Decor Overhead Light, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power: Before starting the installation process, make sure to disconnect the power source.
2. Prepare the area: Account for all the parts and remove any packing materials. Determine the installation location and use the bezel to mark the location of the xxxx holes and wiring hole. For the 69553 model, cut out a 2.25" hole for the light.
3. Wiring: For the 69554 model, drill a hole and pull the unit's wiring through it. xxxx down the bezel using the provided screws. For both the 69554 and 69553 models, refer to the wiring diagrams provided in the manual to wire the light to a three-way switch and your incoming 12V DC power. It is recommended to add fuse protection to the positive (+) input.
4. Test the light: After wiring, test the light to ensure it is functioning properly.
5. Final installation: For the 69554 model, feed the wires back through the hole and push the light into the bezel. For the 69553 model, simply push the light into the hole.
