To install the COMMAND LIGHT C-Lite LED Spotlight, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by qualified personnel only, as the C-Lite must be installed by a designated installation facility.
2. Familiarize yourself with all safety precautions before proceeding with the installation.
3. Consult the factory for additional installation information and assistance, if needed.
Included Parts:
- Four (4) ¼-20 x 1” Hex Head Bolts
- Eight (8) ¼” Flat Washers
- Four (4) ¼-20 Nyloc Nuts
- Four (4) ½” Straight Sealcon with Nuts
- One (1) Command Light Screwdriver
Tools Required:
- 7/16” Wrench and Socket
- Drill with assorted bits
Installation Steps:
1. Determine the desired mounting location for the C-Lite LED Spotlight.
2. Use the drill and appropriate bits to create holes for the mounting bolts.
3. Insert the ¼-20 x 1” Hex Head Bolts through the mounting holes from the inside of the mounting surface.
4. Place a ¼” Flat Washer onto each bolt from the outside of the mounting surface.
5. Secure the bolts in place by attaching a ¼-20 Nyloc Nut to each bolt and tightening them with a 7/16” wrench or socket.
6. Attach the ½” Straight Sealcon with Nut to the cable entry point on the C-Lite.
7. Connect the 25 feet of 12AWG-2 Conductor Cable to the C-Lite, ensuring that the red wire is connected to a 12VDC+ signal and the black wire is connected to a 12VDC Ground signal.
8. If using a wired controller, connect the 8 conductor cable from the controller box to the C-Lite, ensuring that the wires are installed as received from the factory.
9. If necessary, shorten the control cable while noting the location of all wires and reinstall them as they were received from the factory.
10. Once the C-Lite is securely mounted and all wiring connections are made, test the operation by providing a valid 12VDC power source and ground.
11. If the C-Lite does not operate properly, disconnect and reconnect power. If the issue persists, test for a valid 12VDC power source and ground. If the problem still persists, contact Command Light at 1-800-797-7974 for technical support.
