The TEKION CCD-V1 Connected Car Device can be charged in three different ways:
1. Charging through Wireless Pad: To charge wirelessly, you will need a charging pad. Connect a USB Type C charger to power the charging pad. Once the charging pad is powered, place the OBD on the charging pad. The green light on the OBD will indicate that the battery is charging.
2. Charging through USB: The OBD battery can be charged through the USB Type C port by plugging it into a USB connector. You will need a 5V@2A adapter for charging the OBD through the USB port.
3. Charging through OBD: The OBD can also be charged by plugging it into the vehicle's OBD port.
Please note that the OBD has a charge status indication. When the battery is charging, the green light will be solid. If the charging is complete or the charge adapter is not connected, there will be no indication.
