To defrost the freezer compartment of your CANDY Fridge Freezer, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove all food items from the freezer compartment and place them in a cooler or another freezer to keep them frozen.
3. If there is a large amount of frost, you can speed up the defrosting process by placing bowls of warm water in the freezer compartment.
4. Leave the freezer door open to allow the frost to melt. You can place towels or a tray underneath to catch any water that may drip.
5. Do not use sharp objects or mechanical devices to remove the frost as they can damage the appliance. Instead, use a plastic scraper or a soft cloth to gently remove the melted frost.
6. Once all the frost has melted, clean the inside of the freezer compartment with a solution of warm water and a little bicarbonate of soda. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
7. Reconnect the appliance to the power supply and wait for it to reach the desired temperature before placing the food items back in the freezer compartment.
