To activate the UV Protect sterilization feature on the Haier AS50QEEHRA Quartz Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Press the "Mode" button on the remote control to select the "Health" mode.
2. Once in Health mode, the built-in LED UV lights will automatically turn on, providing sterilization of airborne pathogens.
3. The UV Protect feature kills airborne Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and the H3N2 virus at more than 91% effectiveness under specific test conditions.
4. The Health mode can be used for continuous sterilization of the air in your room.
