To install the MALLOCA TIME K Series cooker hood, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a wall of sufficient weight-bearing capacity to affix the hood. Do not install it on a plasterboard wall.
2. Place the cooker hood at a minimum distance of 60 cm from the cooking plane for electric cookers and 60 cm for gas or mixed cookers. If the installation instructions for your gas hob specify a greater distance, follow those instructions.
3. Surface mount the cooker hood to the wall. Do not tile, grout, or silicone the appliance to the wall.
4. If your model includes a chimney flue, do not fix it to furniture or fly over shelves unless it can be easily removed for maintenance.
5. If you want to discharge fumes externally, connect the hood to an upper air exit using an exhaust pipe. If you cannot discharge fumes externally, you can use the recirculating version by installing an active charcoal filter.
6. Ensure that there is a power socket near the hood with a 30 mA differential. The mains voltage must match the label inside the hood.
7. The installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.
