To install the MALLOCA XPRESSFIT Cold Tap, please follow these steps:
1. Before installation, ensure that the inlet hoses are tightly screwed into the mixer base to prevent leaking and damage to your cabinets.
2. Flush the pipe work thoroughly to remove any debris. Turn off the water mains and close any isolating valves.
3. Clean the mounting surface to ensure it is free from dirt and debris.
4. Place the Top Mount Mechanism over the tap hole. Insert the flexible Inlet Hose through the mounting deck hole, starting with the Inlet Hose Nut, followed by the Nylon Nut Sleeve. Then insert the Clamp Plate, pressing it toward the inlet hoses for a smooth entry.
5. Carefully place the tap body on the mounting deck, ensuring that the Clamp Plate xxxx comes to rest against the tap hole.
6. Using a battery-operated power drill with a Phillips bit, tighten the Clamp Plate xxxx while firmly holding the flange to prevent it from moving.
7. Slide the Flange Cap and Tap Body onto the top mount mechanism. Align the tap handle in the desired direction and use the Hexagon Wrench to tighten the Grub xxxx and secure the tap.
8. Connect the Inlet Hose to the water inlet by placing the Nylon Nut Sleeve over the Inlet Hose Nut and tightening it with your fingers. Ensure that the flexible inlet hose does not have any sharp bends, kinks, or twists.
9. Turn on the inlet stop valve and check for leaks. Then, turn on the tap to purge air from the system until water flows in a steady stream.
10. For cleaning, use a soft damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe clean the fittings. Avoid using abrasive detergents, cleaning powders, or scouring pads, as they can damage the surface and cause scratches. Do not use strong disinfectants or cleaners containing hydrochloric acid or phosphoric acid, as they can cause serious damage to the finish.
Please note that the MALLOCA XPRESSFIT Cold Tap has the following technical specifications: Inlet Connections: 1/2" BSP, Operating Pressure: 150-500kPa. If the pressure exceeds 500kPa, a pressure limiting valve must be installed.
