To connect the NOWSONIC AUTARK LED MASTER II DMX Controller to your LED lighting system, follow these steps:
1. Connect the included wall power supply to the DC INPUT socket on the controller. Make sure the polarity is correct (+ = inner contact, - = outer contact). If the supplied power supply is not available, you can use any AC adapter that matches the requirements (9-12V, min. 300mA).
2. Connect a standard XLR cable (not supplied) to the DMX OUT socket on the controller. The pins of the female XLR socket are wired as follows:
- Pin 1: ground (shield)
- Pin 2: signal inverted, DMX -
- Pin 3: signal, DMX +
3. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to the DMX IN socket of the first slave unit in your LED lighting system.
4. Connect additional slave units in the same manner, using XLR cables to daisy-chain the DMX signal from one unit to the next. The DMX output of one unit should be connected to the DMX input of the next unit.
5. Once all the connections are made, turn on the power switch on the controller to activate it.
