To connect the REDARC BCDC1225D battery charger to your vehicle's battery, follow these steps:
1. Read and understand the instruction manual before installation.
2. Ensure that the charger is installed by a qualified person.
3. Choose a suitable location to mount the charger, away from direct engine heat and in contact with a metal surface if possible.
4. Connect the charger's red wire (Vehicle Input) directly to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery using an adequately rated fuse.
5. Connect the charger's black wire (Ground) to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery and/or the vehicle's chassis.
6. If using solar panels, connect the charger's yellow wire (Solar Input) directly to the positive terminal of the solar panel(s).
