To install the SOYAL AR-0200M Electromagnetic Lock, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Determine the mounting location: Choose a suitable location on the door frame or the door itself to install the lock. Ensure that the surface is clean and flat.
2. Mount the strike plate: Attach the strike plate to the door frame using screws or other appropriate fasteners. Make sure it is aligned with the lock's surface magnet.
3. Mount the surface magnet: Attach the surface magnet to the door using screws or other appropriate fasteners. Ensure that it aligns with the strike plate when the door is closed.
4. Connect the power supply: Connect the lock's power supply to a 12V to 24V DC power source. The lock has a current draw of 200mA at 12VDC or 100mA at 24VDC.
5. Test the lock: Once the installation is complete, test the lock by applying power to it. The lock should engage and securely hold the door when power is applied, and release the door when power is removed.
