To clean the spex DualTec Cushion, follow these steps:
1. Remove the cover from the foam base and turn it inside out.
2. Hand wash the incontinence cover using warm water (40°C / 104°F). Do not use bleach or other strong cleaners.
3. Drip or tumble dry the incontinence cover on low heat. Do not iron or dry clean.
4. If you have the Spex Outer Cover installed, machine wash it in warm water (40°C / 104°F). Do not bleach.
5. Drip or tumble dry the Spex Outer Cover on low heat. Do not iron or dry clean.
6. If chemical cleaners are used, rinse the covers thoroughly with water to remove all chemical residue and let them dry completely before reuse.
7. Check the covers for tears and excessive wear. Replace them if they are ripped, torn, or not fully functional.
It is important to note that the foam base should be kept dry. Check the foam base regularly to ensure good foam consistency. If it accidentally becomes wet, dry it thoroughly before replacing the covers.
