To properly install the NAKANISHI MSS-19.20 Series Air Motor Spindle, follow these steps:
1. Make sure to handle the Air Motor Spindle with care and avoid dropping or causing shock to it, as this may damage internal components.
2. When mounting the Air Motor Spindle, ensure that it is secured within the Clamping Area etched on the Air Motor Spindle's outer diameter. Installing it incorrectly may result in damage to internal components.
3. If using a Split Type Holder, rough bore the inside diameter of the holder and cut a slit (about 2mm wide). Tighten the xxxx for removal and force open the slit area. Insert a spacer (about 2mm thick) into the slit area. Then, loosen the xxxx for removal and tighten the fastening bolt with the specified torque. Finish the Split Type Holder so that its inside diameter matches the Air Motor Spindle's outside diameter, within the recommended tolerance range.
4. If a Split Type Holder is not used, install the Air Motor Spindle as shown in the manual.
5. Ensure that set screws do not come into direct contact with the Air Motor Spindle body, as this may damage the housing and internal components. Avoid clamping directly over the bearings to prevent bearing damage.
