To install the Fillauer M065 AllPro DM Direct Mount Pyramid on your prosthetic foot, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the appropriate ISO 10328 compliant, Fillauer or equal, standard adult pyramid receiver for attachment. Torque all set screws to the setting specified by the manufacturer of the pyramid receiver (for Fillauer components, this is 15 N·m).
2. For the AllPro 6 inch foot, the pyramid dome is permanently attached to the pylon spring and should not be removed. The foot is maintenance-free and should not be disassembled.
3. For the AllPro 8, 10, and 12 inch feet, there is a Reversible Pyramid Insert (RPI) that arrives unbonded to allow for adjustment of the foot's dynamics. Before final delivery of the prosthesis, use the epoxy adhesive provided or an equivalent adhesive to secure the pyramid assembly. Follow the instructions in the manual for the detailed assembly process.
4. It is important to align the foot properly for optimal performance. The manual provides instructions for static alignment in the sagittal and frontal planes, as well as dynamic alignment to achieve a smooth transition from heel to toe during gait.
Please note that attachment, alignment, and delivery of the foot should be performed by or under the direct supervision of a qualified prosthetist. Any adjustments or modifications should be done by the clinician and not by the user.
