1. Ensure that you have read and understood the general instructions provided in the manual, and that you have the necessary knowledge and qualifications to carry out the installation safely.
2. Before starting the installation, isolate the mains power to the area where the light will be installed.
3. Check the total load on the circuit to ensure it does not exceed the rating of the circuit cable, fuse, or circuit breaker.
4. Take note of the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of the product to determine the suitable location for installation.
5. The TPB14EMSLED LED Bulkhead Light is Class II double insulated and IP44 rated.
6. Provide power to the required point of installation following the correct cabling methods outlined in BS7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations).

12. Feed the mains cable through the rubber grommet to retain the IP rating, and secure the baseplate to the surface.
13. Connect the luminaire to the mains supply, ensuring the correct polarity is observed (L- Permanent Live, K- Switched Live (brown), N- Neutral (blue)).
14. The additional terminal called Slave Live (SL) is available to enable the sensor to power on additional luminaires. A maximum of 500W LED load can be controlled by the sensor.
15. Reconnect the LED plate to the driver and inverter via the DC sockets.
16. Connect the battery to the socket on the emergency inverter.
