To install the Maiwe MIEN2208 Series Industrial Ethernet Switch, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you are wearing anti-static gloves or using anti-static gloves during the installation process and power off the switch.
2. Make sure that the input voltage is within the range marked on the switch.
3. Use a standard Cat5e/6 network cable for the best transmission distance.
4. Ground the equipment for lightning protection using a wire of No. 20 or more.
5. Lay out the power line, ground line, and signal line separately, ensuring a distance of at least 5cm between them.
6. Tilt the switch upwards and fasten the upper end of the buckle to the upper end of the DIN rail.
7. Buckle the lower end of the back buckle into the DIN rail.
8. Connect the network cables to the appropriate ports.
9. For optical fiber connections, connect the optical fiber to the corresponding optical fiber interface. Remember that the optical fiber connectors must be used in pairs (TX and RX).
10. Connect the power cord to the power terminal of the device according to the defined voltage inputs.
11. Power on the switch by plugging in the power cord.
12. To power off the switch, unplug the power cord and remove it.
