It is recommended to deep clean your RV black water tank twice per year - once at the beginning of the RVing season and once at the end. For full-time RVers, deep cleaning every 5-10 dumps is recommended. If your RV is stationary and rarely moves, it is advised to perform a deep clean every 60 days. As for the gray tank, if you are a hookup camper, deep cleaning biannually is recommended. If you are a boondocker (dry camper), it is suggested to perform a deep clean on the last night of every camping trip to avoid grease buildup.
