To apply the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor, follow these steps:
1. Clean the area where you plan to apply the sensor with alcohol or soap and water. Make sure the area is dry before proceeding.
2. Remove the sensor applicator from the packaging. The sensor is pre-loaded in the applicator.
3. Hold the sensor applicator with the white tab facing up and the adhesive side facing down.
4. Place the sensor applicator on the desired area of your skin. The sensor can be applied on the back of the upper arm.
5. Press down firmly on the sensor applicator to ensure it sticks to your skin.
6. Remove the white tab by pulling it straight out from the sensor applicator. This will release the sensor and leave it on your skin.
7. Gently press down on the sensor to make sure it is securely attached.
8. Once the sensor is applied, you can start using the FreeStyle Libre 3 system to monitor your glucose levels.
Note: The sensor is water-resistant, but it is recommended to avoid excessive exposure to water, such as swimming or bathing, for extended periods of time.
