To calibrate the APERA INSTRUMENTS EC20 Pocket Conductivity Tester, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the probe in distilled water and dry it with a clean tissue.
2. Short press the power button to turn on the tester.
3. Long press the power button to enter calibration mode.
4. Dip the probe into the 1413 μS/cm calibration solution and stir gently. Leave it to stand.
5. The LCD will display a calibration icon (Diagram 3). Short press the power button to complete the 1-point calibration.
6. Rinse the probe in distilled water and dry it.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5, but this time use the 12.88 mS/cm calibration solution for the 2nd point calibration.
8. The tester will return to measurement mode, and the calibration icons M and H will appear at the bottom left of the LCD.
Note: It is recommended to rinse the probe in distilled water and dry it after each test.
