To view and record images and videos from the View Tech borescope to your computer, you will need to follow the hardware and software setup steps outlined in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
Hardware Setup:
1. Connect the cable that came with the borescope. It has a regular HDMI plug on one end and a mini HDMI plug on the other.
2. Insert the mini HDMI plug into the borescope.
3. Insert the regular HDMI plug into the USB 3.0 HDMI Video Capture device.
4. Plug the USB plug on the video capture device into your computer.
Software Setup:
1. Insert the included USB drive into your computer (if provided) or download OBS Studio from the official website: https://obsproject.com/download
2. Install OBS Studio by running the OBS-Studio-26.x.x-Full-Installer-x64.exe file.
3. Open OBS Studio.
4. In the "Sources" box, click the "+" button.
5. Select "Video Capture Device" from the options.
6. Choose "Create New" and give it a name (e.g., "Viewtech Borescope").
7. Click OK.
8. Change the device to "USB Video" and click OK.
9. You should now be able to see the live feed from the borescope on your computer screen.
10. Press F11 to toggle fullscreen if desired.
