To start the TOPMAQ 154F Petrol Engine, follow these steps:
1. Check the oil level: Ensure that the engine has enough oil. If the engine is shipped without oil, add oil before starting.
2. Move the fuel xxxx to the ON position: This allows fuel to flow to the engine.
3. Move the choke lever to the choke position: This helps with starting a cold engine. Note that the choke is usually unnecessary when restarting a warm engine.
4. Move the throttle lever away from the MIN position: Move it about 1/3 of the way toward the MAX position.
5. Turn the engine switch to the ON position: This activates the engine.
6. Recoil Start: Firmly hold the starting handle and pull the starter cord handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull rapidly. Be cautious of the rapid retraction of the starter cord (kickback).
Electric Start (optional): Turn the key to the Start position and hold it there until the engine starts. If the engine fails to start within 5 seconds, release the key and wait at least 10 seconds before trying again.
