To assemble the Wasatch Photonics WP Series-XL Enlighten spectrometer, follow these steps:
1. Identify the cables and connectors: The spectrometer comes with six cables, each with a specific purpose. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the connectors on the spectrometer and the Andor camera.
2. Connect the power cables: Start by connecting the two power cables to their respective power supplies. Ensure that the power supplies are compatible with the specific model of the Andor camera you have.
3. Connect the shutter cable: Connect the Shutter Cable from the Andor camera to the spectrometer's shutter.
4. Assemble the shutter power cable: Connect the assembled Shutter Power Cable to the spectrometer.
5. Assemble the Andor power cable: Connect the assembled Andor Power Cable to the camera.
6. Fully connect the spectrometer: Once all the cables are properly connected, you will have a fully-connected Wasatch Photonics XL spectrometer ready for connection to mains power and your computer.
