To upgrade the Fireware OS on your Watchguard Firebox T15-W with 1YR Total Security Suite, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a supported WatchGuard Firebox T Series (except T20, T40, T55, T70, T80), Firebox M200, or Firebox M300 appliance.
2. Ensure that you have the required hardware and software components as mentioned in the user manual.
3. If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Fireware OS, make sure you have the feature key for your Firebox. You can download it from the WatchGuard website if you don't have one.
4. Review the release notes and known issues for Fireware v12.5.8 to understand any specific requirements or limitations.
5. Back up your WatchGuard servers, including your WatchGuard Management Server, to a safe location before the upgrade.
6. Download the Fireware OS image for your Firebox from the WatchGuard Software Downloads Center.
7. If you use WatchGuard System Manager (WSM), ensure that your WSM version is equal to or higher than the version of Fireware OS installed on your Firebox and the version of WSM installed on your Management Server.
8. Upgrade the Fireware OS on your Firebox automatically from the Fireware Web UI System > Upgrade OS page or from WatchGuard Cloud. Alternatively, you can upgrade manually using the .exe or .zip file downloaded in step 6.
9. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual or Fireware Help to complete the upgrade process.
Note: It is recommended to save a local copy of your Firebox configuration and create a Firebox backup image before upgrading. Additionally, ensure that you have a stable network connection and sufficient time for the upgrade process.
