To assemble the Aidapt VP187D Deluxe Bariatric Rollator, please follow these steps:
1. Remove the rollator from the box and inspect it for any visible signs of damage.
2. Unfold the main section of the frame and fold down the seat.
3. Tilt the frame forwards and attach the rear, right-hand leg with the fixed wheel and brake cable to the upright tube. Make sure the wheel is oriented correctly, with the brake spring on the inside of the rollator frame.
4. Push the leg in until the locking pin clicks into place and is visible. If it clicks into place but is not visible, press the button on the plastic joint to release the pin and push the leg further into the upright until the locking pin clicks into the first hole. Repeat this step for the left-hand side.
5. Insert the handle assemblies into the uppermost tubes until the locking pins click into place. Ensure that the brake cable lies on the outside of the frame to reduce the risk of interference or entrapment.
6. Use the brake cable clips to secure the cable to the main upright of the rollator.
7. Rotate the rollator and lay it on its back to make it easier to assemble the front wheel. Insert the front legs until the locking pins click into place. Make sure the legs are oriented correctly, with the castor settling relatively horizontally.
8. To fit the backrest, turn the locking key to the vertical OPEN position on both sides of the backrest. Align the groove on the locking pin assembly with the track on the plastic connector on the frame, ensuring the locking pin text faces outwards. Slide the assembly vertically downwards until it comes to a stop. Lock it by rotating the locking pin 180° to the LOCK position. Repeat this step for the opposite side.
