To set up the VIS-MINI-CNTRL Door Controller, follow these steps:
1. Wiring: Connect the necessary wires according to the provided wiring diagram in the user manual. Make sure to connect the power supply, exit button, lock, and any additional devices correctly.
2. Enter Program Mode: Use the master code (default is 123456) followed by the "#" key to enter program mode. The red light will shine to indicate that you are in program mode.
3. Set Master Code: To change the master code, enter "0" followed by the new master code and "#" key. Repeat the new master code and "#" key to confirm the change.
4. Add Users: Depending on the type of reader or keypad you are using, follow the instructions in the user manual to add card users or PIN users. For card users, you can use auto ID or select a specific ID. For PIN users, you can use auto ID or select a specific ID.
5. Change PIN: To change the PIN associated with a card, enter the user ID followed by the old PIN, new PIN, and repeat the new PIN. To change the PIN for a specific user, enter the user ID, old PIN, new PIN, and repeat the new PIN.
6. Delete Users: To delete a user by user ID, enter "2" followed by the user ID and "#" key. To delete a user by card, enter "2" followed by reading the card on the external reader and "#" key. To delete a user by card number, enter "2" followed by the input of the 8 or 10-digit card number and "#" key. To delete a user by PIN, enter "2" followed by the input of the PIN and "#" key. To delete all users, enter "2" followed by the master code and "#" key.
7. Set Relay Configuration: To set the behavior of the output relay, enter "3" followed by the desired relay time in seconds (1-99) or enter "3 0" for ON/OFF toggle mode.
8. Set Access Mode: To set the access mode, enter "4" followed by the desired access mode code. "4 0" for card access, "4 1" for card + PIN access, "4 3" for card or PIN access (default), or "4 3" followed by the number of multi cards/PINs access.
9. Set Audible and Visual Response: To control the sounds or LED, enter "7" followed by the desired control code. "7 0" for turning off sounds, "7 1" for turning on sounds, "7 4" for turning off the LED, or "7 5" for turning on the LED (default).
10. User Information Transfer: If you want to transfer user information from one VIS-MINI-CNTRL unit to another, follow the instructions in the user manual to set up the transferring operation on the master unit.
