To clean the Midea MK-SP50Colour201 Water Boiler, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the power cord and allow the kettle to cool down.
2. Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquid. Instead, wipe the surface of the kettle with a damp cloth.
3. To clean the mineral deposits (scale) inside the kettle, you can use a cleaning agent such as vinegar or citric acid.
4. Fill the kettle with 0.5L of white vinegar and the remainder with water. Allow it to stand for over 1 hour.
5. Empty the solution from the kettle and wipe off any remaining deposits with a damp cloth.
6. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring it to a boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process several times.
7. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process for several times until the kettle is clean.
8. Do not use chemical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle, as these may scratch the surface and fade the color.
9. Grasp the top of the scale filter and pull upwards to remove it. Wash it with clean water and dry it thoroughly before replacing it in the kettle.
