To install the NEUTRIK NE8FDP-SE RJ45 Feedthrough Receptacle, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the receptacle on your panel. Ensure that the panel thickness is between 2 mm and 4 mm (0.08" - 0.16").
2. If necessary, prepare the panel by drilling a suitable hole for the receptacle.
3. Place the NE8FDP-SE receptacle into the hole from either the front or rear side of the panel.
4. Secure the receptacle in place using the included mounting screws. Ensure that the receptacle is firmly attached to the panel.
5. Connect the wiring to the NE8FDP-SE receptacle. It accommodates NE8MC* or any standard RJ45 plug. Please refer to the wiring diagram provided in the manual or consult a professional if you are unsure about the wiring configuration.
6. Once the wiring is connected, the NE8FDP-SE receptacle is ready for use. It is compatible with CAT 5e cables and complies with TIA/EIA 568B and ISO/IEC 11801 standards.
Please note that the NE8FDP-SE does not intermate with CAT6 cable connector NE8MC6-MO and NKE6S* cables.
