To configure the target server for the CyberView 1080p IP KVM Switch, you need to turn off mouse acceleration and adjust the display scaling setting. Here are the steps:
1. Mouse Setting:
- Open the Control Panel and double-click on the Mouse icon to open the Mouse Properties dialog box.
- Move the pointer speed slider to the default of 50% (the middle of the slider or the sixth tick from the left).
- Uncheck "Enhance pointer precision."
- Uncheck "Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box" and "Display pointer trails."
- Note that mouse acceleration can only be turned off on a per Windows user basis. If you log in to Windows with a different user name, you will have to configure mouse properties separately for that user as well.
2. Display Scaling Setting:
- Open the Settings on your Windows operating system.
- Click on System.
- Click on Display.
- Under the "Scale and layout" section, select the scale of 100%.
