To measure AC voltage with the Megger DCM340 Handheld Clamp Multimeter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the meter is in the AC voltage measurement mode. You can switch between different measurement modes using the rotary xxxx on the meter.
2. Make sure the test leads are connected to the meter. The red lead should be connected to the VΩmA input jack and the black lead should be connected to the COM jack.
3. Identify the circuit or component from which you want to measure AC voltage. Ensure that the circuit is de-energized and safe to work on.
4. Open the jaws of the clamp meter and position them around the conductor carrying the AC voltage. Make sure the conductor is fully enclosed by the jaws.
5. Close the jaws firmly to ensure a good connection with the conductor.
6. Read the AC voltage measurement on the LCD display of the meter. The measurement will be displayed in volts (V).
