To wire the SEM300 Communicator to your panel, follow these steps:
1. Connect panel terminal 4 (GND) to SEM GND.
2. Connect panel terminal 6 (GREEN: DATA IN FROM KEYPAD) to SEM GREEN (OUT).
3. Connect panel terminal 7 (YELLOW: KEYPAD DATA OUT) to SEM YELLOW (IN).
4. Use the included red cable with the two-prong battery connector to connect the battery to both the SEM and the panel.
5. If you are using the SEM for an ETL installation, an alternate wiring method may be required. Consult the manual for more information.
6. Connect an Ethernet cable to the pre-installed Ethernet jack for Dual-Path communication. Note that local network changes may be necessary for the broadband path to activate.
7. Make sure all wiring connections are secure and all internal components are in their proper locations before closing the enclosure.
