To program the Yale EF-KP Easy Fit EF Series Alarm System Remote Keypad, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, program your keypad. Refer to your current system instruction book for programming instructions.
2. Locate the keypad in a suitable position. Ensure it is accessible when entering, not visible from outside, protected by another device, at chest height for ease of use, and not outdoors.
3. The keypad features a LED Indicator, Numeric Keys, Arm Key, Panic Keys A and B, Home Arm Key, Disarm Key, and Learn Button.
4. The LED Indicator displays the keypad status.
5. The Numeric Keys are used for entering user codes.
6. Press the Arm Key for Away Arming.
7. Press both Panic Keys A and B simultaneously for a Panic alarm.
8. Press the Home Arm Key to partially arm the system.
9. Use the Disarm Key with your user code to switch the system off or to silence the alarm.
10. To learn the keypad to the system, press the Learn Button (button 8 and 9 together).
Please note that it is important to follow the installation and maintenance instructions provided with the product. The keypad operates within environmental conditions of -10°C to 40°C and a relative humidity of 70% non-condensing. The radio frequency used is 868MHz FM.
