To install the PANDUIT Z22U Universal Network Zone System on a wall, follow these steps:
1. If using wall mounting feet:
a. Turn the enclosure on its side with the locks oriented toward the top.
b. Using a latch tool, turn both locks toward each other to open the door.
c. Install the wall mounting feet into the back of the enclosure, aligning the threaded studs on the feet with the holes located in the back of the enclosure.
d. Secure the wall mounting feet using the supplied sealing washers (1 per threaded stud). Thread a nut onto each stud and tighten to 200 in-lbs.
e. Close the door and use the latch tool to turn both locks to secure it.
2. If not using wall mounting feet:
a. For a steel enclosure, use a 5/16" sealing washer (supplied) and a 5/16" bolt (not supplied) in the locations where the threaded studs in the mounting feet would go to mount the enclosure directly to the wall.
b. For a stainless steel enclosure, use a 3/8" sealing washer (supplied) and a 3/8" bolt (not supplied) in the locations where the threaded studs in the mounting feet would go to mount the enclosure directly to the wall.
c. *To maintain NSF certification, seal the perimeter between the enclosure back and the mounting surface with silicone rubber sealant.
3. Wall Mounting:
a. The enclosure can be mounted on any wall using Unistrut or by drilling directly into a concrete wall.
b. Drill holes 22.5" apart horizontally and 25.56" apart vertically.
c. Mount the enclosure with the locks to the right and secure it.
*To maintain NSF certification, seal the perimeter between the enclosure and the back mounting surface with silicone rubber sealant.
