To connect the SmartGen BAC2410 Battery Charger to your 24V lead-acid battery, follow these steps:
1. Connect the AC terminals (L and N) of the charger to an AC voltage source of (100~240)V using a multi-strand copper line with a minimum size of BVR 1.5mm2.
2. Connect the GND terminal of the charger to the shell internally.
3. Connect the battery negative terminal (B-) of the charger to the negative terminal of your 24V lead-acid battery using a multi-strand copper line with a minimum size of BVR 2.5mm2.
4. Connect the battery positive terminal (B+) of the charger to the positive terminal of your 24V lead-acid battery using a multi-strand copper line with a minimum size of BVR 2.5mm2.
Once the connections are made, the charger will start the charging process according to the battery charging characteristics using a two-stage method (constant current and constant voltage). The LED indicators on the charger will show the status of the charging process. The green LED indicator will indicate when the battery is fully charged, and the red LED indicator will show when the battery is being charged.
Please refer to the SmartGen BAC2410 Battery Charger User Manual for more detailed information and instructions on the usage and operation of the charger.
