To install the TOURATECH Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Evo Pannier System with Stainless Steel Carrier, please follow the mounting instructions provided in the instruction manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary parts and tools for installation.
2. We recommend having the accessory parts fitted by a specialist workshop.
3. Carefully read and understand all the caution, note, and warning statements in the manual.
4. Make sure to observe applicable road vehicle regulations and laws in your country.
5. If parts require inspection and/or approval after fitting, take your vehicle to a testing station and update the vehicle papers.
6. Check and, if necessary, tighten all bolted connections after 50 km of usage. Refer to the standard tightening torques in Nm for bolted connections with strength class 8.8.
7. For special tightening torques, consult your specialist workshop.
8. Take into account that fitting panniers, crash bars, foot peg lowering kits, kickstand enlargement plate, front spoilers, and engine guards may restrict the bike's lean angle.
9. If modifications are made to the fairing, stem, handlebar, or fairing parts, ensure that electrical wiring, brake lines, accelerator, and clutch cables are refitted correctly.
10. Check clearance on both sides with full steering lock.
11. Always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics.
12. We recommend cutting protective film to size and applying it to impact areas that are likely to be chipped by stones.
13. Work on the brake system and suspension should always be carried out by a specialist workshop.
14. The maximum load on luggage racks is 5 kg, while the luggage racks Zega Pro TC can handle up to 10 kg.
15. If using other original or aftermarket accessories, ensure clearance, fitment, and avoid contact with other parts.
16. Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts before assembly.
