To mount the apollo RW1000-700APO REACH Multi-Sensor Detector, follow these steps:
1. Remove the detector's dust cover, which is intended to protect the unit during shipping.
2. Twist the detector anticlockwise to remove it from the base.
3. Use a pencil to mark the mounting holes on the desired surface where you will be drilling.
4. Use a suitable-sized drill bit (6 mm) to drill the marked xxxx points on the chosen surface.
5. Make sure you use the correct fixings for the type of surface you are mounting to.
6. A plastic pop-out tag is removable from the base to enable you to label the address of the detector. Pop out the device label tag from the base and insert it into the side.
7. xxxx the base to the ceiling using all fixing holes and appropriate-sized screws.
8. Remove the battery compartment cover on the base of the detector.
9. Ensure the programming switch in the base of the detector is in the ON position.
10. Remove the batteries' insulating tab, making sure the batteries remain in their lodgement.
11. The detector's LED will signal 4 times in red.
12. Move the switch in the base of the detector to position 1.
13. The detector's LED will blink green for a few seconds and then signal alternatively green/red 4 times.
14. Make sure you replace the battery cover as it is part of the detector's anti-tamper protection.
15. Refit the detector by twisting it clockwise into the base.
16. Secure the xxxx on the base using an M3 allen key to ensure there is no unwanted removal.
