To clean the filters of the GMC500AP Air Purifier, please follow these instructions:
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Remove the back cover of the air purifier.
3. Take out the washable pre-filter and composite filter from the device.
4. Remove the packing bag from the composite filter.
5. Re-insert both filters into the device, making sure the textile handle of the composite filter is facing toward the back cover.
6. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the inside and outside of the air purifier to prevent dust from collecting.
7. The air outlet can also be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth.
8. Clean the air quality sensor every two months for optimal functioning of the appliance.
9. Never use abrasive, aggressive, or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the appliance.
10. If the air purifier is used in a dusty environment, it may need to be cleaned more often.
