To install the Superlux LLED1-SC101 Smart Control Switch, please follow the steps below:
1. It is recommended to have a registered electrician install the switch.
2. Before starting the installation, make sure to isolate the electrical supply.
3. Use a Constant voltage, 12Volt DC driver (5V-24V) for the switch.
4. Choose a driver supply with a wattage that exceeds the total wattage of all fixtures used in aggregate on your circuit. The switch has a maximum capacity of 96Watts.
5. Place the switch after the driver and before the first light. When connecting the wires, ensure correct alignment of polarity by checking the orientation of the key and slot. Twist the cap onto the thread to secure and ensure water tightness.
6. Ensure that the extra low voltage connections are watertight to prevent water siphoning into the fixture cables. Install the switch in a dry location away from where water may pool.
For setting up the wireless connection to the Smart Life App, please follow these steps:
1. Install the Tuya "Smart Life app" by scanning the provided QR code or searching manually in the Apple Store or Play Store on your device.
2. Open the app and log in (create a login if you are new to the app).
3. Tap on "add device" and then select "add manually."
4. On the left-hand side, select "Lighting."
5. Scroll down and choose "strip light (Wifi)."
6. Press and hold the button on the LLED1-SC101 smart switch for 10 seconds until the connected lights flash rapidly.
7. Follow the instructions from the app to connect the switch to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi network password.
8. This should allow you to pair the switch to the application for remote switching. If you encounter any issues, please refer to the troubleshooting information.
