To install the WATERWARE FWCU8228 Cube Standard Basin Mixer, follow these steps:
1. Cut a 35mm diameter hole in the desired location for the mixer and ensure there is a 60mm circle space for mounting.
2. Underneath the mounting hole, xxxx down the lock nut to the end of the mixer tail. Then, feed the metal washer and rubber washer onto the mixer tail from the upside.
3. Feed the hoses through the mixer tail and then both the mixer tail and hoses through the hole.
4. Feed the dress ring onto the mixer tail and xxxx the hoses into the mixer body according to the provided instructions.
5. xxxx the mixer tail into the mixer body, taking care not to scratch the dress ring. Place the mixer into position.
6. Underneath the mounting hole, firmly fasten the locknut and then tighten the screws.
7. Connect the hoses to the water supply.
8. Test the installation and check for any leaks.
9. Once the installation is complete and there are no leaks, the work is finished.
Please note the following additional information:
- The pressure rating for this mixer is 150-500kpa. If the pressure exceeds or is likely to exceed 550kpa, an approved pressure-limiting device must be installed.
- The temperature rating is 1-75°C. If the water temperature exceeds 55°C, an approved tempering valve must be fitted.
- It is recommended to flush out all pipes prior to installation.
- The installation should comply with Australia standard AS/NZS3500 or relevant local authority requirements.
For maintenance and care:
- Clean the mixer with a mild detergent or soapy water using a soft cloth or dampened sponge.
- Dry the mixer with a soft cloth after each use and clean it regularly.
- Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners on the mixer.
