Here are the step-by-step instructions for installing the MSE AUDIO LA808i-II Bass Line Array Speaker:
1. Unpack the speaker and gather all the components included in the box.
2. Using the supplied bolts, attach the AC-LA8-BACK back plate to the rear of the speaker. Make sure not to exceed 100 in-lbs when installing the bolts.
3. Place the LA880i-II Line Array Speaker on top of the LA808i-II Bass Line Array Speaker and attach the supplied AC-LA8-LINK-II side plates using the supplied bolts.
4. Attach the AC-LA8-LINK-II back plate to the assembly using the supplied bolts.
5. Connect the included safety cables to each bent bracket on both the LA808i-II and LA880i-II speakers, and secure them to the structure using appropriate fasteners provided by the installer.
6. Choose one of the two inputs: SpeakOn™ or the included Euroblock. Note that the signal wire must connect to the LA808i-II speaker and not directly to the LA880i-II speaker.
7. If using the Euroblock input, connect the signal wire to the four-pin Euroblock plug. If using the SpeakOn™ connector, skip to step 10.
8. Insert the wired 4-pin Euroblock jack into the speaker, ensuring proper polarity.
9. If using a SpeakOn™ cable, insert the cable end into the SpeakOn™ input connector and twist to lock.
10. Connect the included jumper cable from the LA808i-II output to the LA880i-II SpeakOn™ input. This jumper cable ensures the proper signal transfer for maximum performance.
11. Flip the LFDE switch on the LA880i-II speaker to "YES". Failure to lift the switch will negatively impact sound quality.
12. The installation is now complete!
