To connect the external battery pack to your PANDUIT SmartZone UPS, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the UPS is powered off and disconnected from the mains power source.
2. Locate the Intelligent Network Management Card (INMC) on the UPS. This is where the external battery pack will be connected.
3. Take the provided communication cable and connect one end to the communication port on the external battery pack.
4. Connect the other end of the communication cable to the communication port on the INMC.
5. Next, take the provided power cable and connect one end to the power output port on the external battery pack.
6. Connect the other end of the power cable to the power input port on the INMC.
7. Once all connections are secure, power on the UPS and the external battery pack.
8. The UPS will automatically detect the external battery pack and start utilizing its power capacity.
