To adjust the torso length on the Eagle Creek 55L Tour Travel Pack, follow these steps:
1. Find the C7 vertebra on the back of your neck when dropping your chin to your chest.
2. Measure your torso length using the following size guidelines:
- Small / Medium: 14 in - 18 in / 36 cm - 46 cm
- Medium / Large: 15 in - 20 in / 38 cm - 51 cm
3. Loosen all the straps on the backpack, including the Load Lifter Straps, Shoulder Straps, Hip Belt, and Sternum Strap.
4. Open the padded back panel flaps to allow the yoke to slide up and down.
5. Slide the yoke up or down to the desired fit using the Torso Length Indicator and secure it using the hook & loop closure.
6. Once the torso length is adjusted, you can proceed to load the pack.
Please note that it is recommended to fill the pack with at least 15-20 lb / 7-9 kg of weight before putting it on. This will help simulate the actual weight distribution and ensure a proper fit.
When putting the pack on, make sure to secure the Hip Belt to comfortably rest the weight on your hips. Snug the Shoulder Straps and adjust the Sternum Strap to a comfortable position that does not restrict your breathing. Finally, snug the Load Lifter Straps to pull the weight toward your core at a 30° - 60° angle for an ideal fit.
