To install the Oventrop Hydrocontrol VFC Cast-Iron Calibrated Balancing Valves, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, thoroughly flush the pipework.
2. Choose the appropriate position for installation (horizontal, oblique, or vertical) and ensure that the direction of flow conforms to the arrow on the valve body.
3. Install the valve with a straight pipe length of 3 times the diameter (Ø) in the upstream side and 2 times the diameter (Ø) in the downstream pipe.
4. The valve can be installed in either the supply or the return pipe.
5. After installation, ensure that the handwheel and measuring connection are easily accessible.
